When do I have to register for a program?
Attendance at each program is limited, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, please register as far in advance as possible. A program will close to registration under two situations: when the capacity has been reached or when the RSVP-by-date has passed. The RSVP-by-date is 5 days prior to the start of the program.
Are there any late fees?
Yes, NTL charges a late fee of $100 if a registration takes place 10 days or less prior to the start of a program to cover administrative costs.
How much does an NTL program cost?
On average, NTL programs cost between $2500 to $3200 USD. For exact pricing, please refer to our program guide.
Do you offer discounts?
NTL does offer discounts. All discounts must be claimed upon registration/signing of contract by contacting the client relationship manager at learn@ntl.org. To view a complete list of our discounts, please click here.
When do I have to make a payment for a program?
Payments should be made at the time of registration for each program. Checks and purchase orders from organizations can be used to pay for NTL programs; however, they must be accompanied by a company purchase order number or company check number. Your program tuition must be paid in full prior to the program start date.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you must cancel your enrollment and do not have a designated alternate, you may be responsible for cancellation fees. All cancellations must be in writing in order to be processed properly. To avoid penalties, a cancellation must be received not less that 30 calendar days before the start of the program. A cancellation received 7-30 days prior to the start date will incur a charge of 50% of the tuition. A cancellation received less than 7 days before the program start date will result in the forfeiture of the full tuition.
What is the class credit policy?
Eligible funds held on account as a result of a cancellation will be retained for a period of one year from the date of transfer. Any unapplied funds after that time will be forfeited.
Are meals and lodging included in the program cost?
Lodging is not included in the price of tuition. Lunch is only included as part of the program fee for our programs in Arlington, VA and Bethel, ME. All other meals are the responsibility of the participant.
Do I make my own hotel reservations?
Yes, you are responsible for making your own lodging accommodations at the training site.
Can I arrive late and leave early to programs?
Because of the T-Group structure of NTL's programs, which is essential to the interpersonal development of each participant in our programs, tasks and assignments are to be completed as a group. Therefore, participants are asked to arrive on time at the beginning of the program and each day. Early departures for reasons other than emergencies are not encouraged and are counter-productive to the groups.
Will I have time off?
During the program, there is limited time allotted for sightseeing and recreational activities. Therefore, if you wish to enjoy the sites and activities, we encourage you to arrive at the program site early or stay a few days after the close of the program.
Can I bring guests or family?
We recommend that you plan on giving the program your full attention and do not bring guests or family with you.
What is the dress code policy for NTL Institute programs?
The dress code for NTL programs is casual - jeans and/or khakis are acceptable. T-shirts are also acceptable. We want you to wear whatever you find comfortable.
What is a T-Group?
The T-Group consists of learning and dialogue in a small group within an atmosphere of open and safe discussion. Learning is guided by an experienced, highly credentialled NTL facilitator. Our T-Group method is one of the most widely respected and often emulated training techniques ever created. It is the foundational core of our experiential learning and training programs. Participants are able to open to a deeper level of personal learning and transformation, removing roadblocks and creating breakthroughs to achieve unparalleled personal and professional success.
